Old medical bill

I broke my arm in 3/2007 and i was under the impression my insurance paid for the surgery but know a year and a half later i am receiving a bill from the doctors office telling me i owe them 160 dollars, am i responsible for this bill?

Its hard to say without reviewing an accounting from the physician, but yes its very likely that your insurance didn't pay the entire cost, and you may be responsible for $160. From the information you have provided, it doesn't appear that the statute of limitations on the debt has run, so unless there is something else not set out in your post, you probably owe it.
