statute of limitation

when a debit is charged off. how long a creditor have to sue the debtor. Is an assignee have the same rights?

An Assignee is subject to the same rights and remedies as the assignor. There is either a 2 or 4 year statute of limitations. There may be a violation of the Fair Debt Collection Act, but we would have to review your letter from the collection agency.
