Can i get my car out B4 30 day manditory impound law

on 10/10/01 i got my car impounded , i had my licence suspended and expired tags on 10/11/01 i got my licens

reinstated but now the LAPD wont release it until 30 days , i heard that i can get it out b4 this is my

means of geting to work and taking my daughter to school i need help

I'm certain that there's some method of getting your car out. However, I'm not familiar with the provision in the Vehicle Code that provides for the impounding of your car. This was doen to a friend of mine. Your ticket should show a VC Section that you violated, And I'm fairly certain that you've been given a court date. So I'd start with legal aide or the public defender's office. Or send me the code section and I'll look it up, and get back to you. don't know ehn yo sent this however, I just received 200 questions on the day before Thanksgiving. So this may be too late.
