Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I was charged with hs11377a . Prosecutors states that it was found two small bags of meth . Do they have to show pictures of what was seized as an evidence when I was arrested . This is my first time ever arrested . High desert , California . Thank you . What is my best defense ?

Your best defense is getting an attorney. There are evidentiary rules when you goto trial. There is a time for discovery .. Go it alone, You will be in jail

I agree with Mr. Green. They do not necessarily have to take pictures. The prosecutor will have to have the officers testify as to their finds, present a "chain of custody" to the lab, and have the lab technician testify as to what the material was. A good attorney should be able to have their own lab do an independent test if you are claiming the substance was something else.
