Illegal search case
what if the police have a tip 4 days prior from a confidental informer is it still a illegal search if they arrest me and i get caught with a gun?
also can they use a tip four days ago from a confidential informer as a proper cause without a seach warrant?

Four days is probably a short enough period for the tip from the informant to be valid but, generally, a tip needs to be corroborated with additional and independent observations by the police to make a warrant valid. Only a lawyer who has reviewed your case carefully could really advise you on whether you have grounds for challenging the search. The devil is in the details.
