marijuana possession
20 year old with marijuana in car, and friends. less than a gram of marijuana. it was not on him in was in car door. friends took off left there. He was not tested. was booked. what are the chances he have this not appear in his record. What are the chances, he can beat this case.

Hello---Thank you for your question. Without having more facts it would be difficult to predict what will happen in this case. The cops have probably tried to get statements from all those people in the car to help them attribute possession to one person. Without counsel, "slim to none". With counsel, he may be able to effectively use the facts to defend the case charges. Contact a local criminal/juvenile law attorney.
