Nope. This is an Arizona case, and it will be decided by an Arizona court. The rest of your question would be better addressed to Arizona lawyers.

Good luck.

Edward Hoffman and Andrew Roberts (above) are correct when they both say that the matter has to be heard in the Arizona Court. However, neither mentions that what happens in Arizona doesn't stay in Arizona - it may well lead to a suspension of your California drivers license! All 50 states are linked by computer and California's DMV will usually learn of whatever happens in Arizona courts. A little early planning between a California criminal lawyer and your Arizona criminal lawyer will better prepare you to minimize those consequences, or maybe even eliminate them. All three attorneys have given you correct information. As a minor you actually face more penalties than adult in California. The interstate commerce compact is what Mr. Mandell is referring too. Generally, most states (not all states) will also penalize drivers who receive convictions that are not in their home State. California and Arizona routinely do this. If you are convicted in Arizona they in turn will inform California of your conviction. California will then impose their own penalties on you for the Arizona conviction. You should consider talking to your parents and having them hire an attorney for you.
