petty theft (reopen case)

I worked at target and they said i gave discounts to people. i worked in the food section and they put this on my record i was wondering what i could do to get this off my recrod?petty theft charge..

The case is over, and you lost. Now you have a permanent record as a thief. Next time get a lawyer before the case is over.

If 'put on your record' means it's in the employer's records, there is nothing you can do to remove that.

If 'put on your record' means you pled to or were convicted of a crime in court, then you may be able to seek expungement once you've spent the time, paid the fines and completed the terms of probation for at least one year without further problems. Try expungement if the record that you are talking about is a criminal record.
