Do police officers have to stop questioning after u say i dont want to talk anymore before the rights are read.

No they don't have to stop questioning you but if you are in custody nothing you say thereafter can be used against you. The definition of custody is somewhat difficult and you need to immediately talk to a criminal defense attorney if you have any questions. Under no condition should you continue to talk to the police officer or anyone else other than a criminal defense attorney until you talk to an attorney.
