need help for my son
my son being in jail for over a year.He was in a fight. His trail is next month and being charged with mayhew. The victim is ok and is out of state.He will be having a hearing for 995 Motion and a motion to sever. Do you think they can drop the charges of mayhew.

Your question is "can" they drop the mayhem charge? Yes, it can be dismissed if it wasn't sufficiently proven at the preliminary hearing.
If you're asking "will they" dismiss the mayhem charge - that's a whole different question. Without knowing what evidence was presented, most importantly the severity of the victim's injuries, there's absolutely no way to guess.
