important questions would be - what is the other incident? why didn't you appear on this other incident? did you know about it? how long ago was this alleged Failure to Appear (FTA)? How did it come to your attention you have a bench warrant for a FTA? You may or may not be found in violation of probation depending on the answers to these questions. I would have an attorney clear the FTA on the other matter prior to your court appearance. Good luck!

A warrant could cause you to be taken into custody upon going to court on the current probation hearing. You need to properly deal with the other charges and warrant before then. To properly handle warrants, you must turn yourself into the issuing court, with or without an attorney, and try to negotiate a recall of the warrant[s] and a plea bargain on the new Failure to Appear charge. Youll try to negotiate bail reduction or OR release. Youll try to negotiate a plea bargain or take to trial the outstanding charges that caused the warrant. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me.
