If someone convinces the police to accept a crime report and they get a warrant issued, then you could face arrest. I can't judge the likelihood, but if several people accuse you of threats or other crimes, is is possible. It MIGHT be possible for an attorney to contact that local police agency and ask if it has been done, on the understanding that if one has been issued, you will cooperate and turn yourself in voluntarily Personally, I would not believe their story, but you know them, not I. If you decide you want to hire counsel, feel free to contact me.
