Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

harrassment/Slander

what is the best way to prove harrassment. I have had several occasions where I have been verbally abused and lied by people who work at a non for profit and are supposed to be professional. I have made a running log of such behaviour.

Re: harrassment/Slander

"Harassment" is not illegal, unless you can prove it is motivated by discrimination on the basis of race, age, gender, etc. under the Civil Rights laws. Nobody said life was fair, and that includes businesses and the work environment. You don't have to patronize poorly managed and run places, nor work at them, you can leave.

However, IF you are saying you are an employee or customer subjected to 'illegal' discrimination as described and defined in the law, and that you can prove that through other than 'your word vs theirs', feel free to contact me to discuss your rights and remedies.
