Legal Question in Discrimination Law in California

My partner of 25 years passed away 5 years ago. Line of equity on our home was in his name through OCTFCU now Shools First, after trying to get things up to date I became currnet on payments through Mar of this year. I was assured that I would sart recievng statement , I was sent a letter of defualt in april went to make payments current in may , payments refused by one Crystal Ricard saying the loan was callled in . I have never received statments. If we in fact were husband and wife would there be a problem or is this a gay issue?

Thanks

Thom

There are a number of important facts that you don't disclose. Is there a will or trust? If you were not married and your name is not on the property, you would have no right to the information regarding a mortgage or equity line, without prior authorization of the deceased borrower.
