Legal Question in DUI Law in California

I got charged with 2 DUIs. But the first one they said it'll be wet reckless. A year after I received my 2nd DUI and got charged as DUI. Im doing my 18 month courses for alcohol programs. My license is suspended now, but is there a way I can get at least a restricted license? Because I can't afford to take taxi to work anymore. I heard about applying for SR22, will that help me get my license back?

You may be eligible for an Ignition Interlock restricted license if you have already served 90 days of suspension time. I need more information about your second offense to give you a definitive answer.

On a second DUI (your first "wet" counts as a DUI for prior purposes), you may be able to get a restricted license after 3 months if you install an ignition interlock device in your car.

The SR-22 is the proof of financial responsibility (insurance) that you're required to have in place now.
