I was court ordered to have a IID in my car for 3 years, Is it possible for me to ask the court to have it lifted after 2 years.

Yes. I imagine you had a high blood alcohol test result for the judge to have ordered an IID device for three years. Be prepared to demonstrate a sober lifestyle and some need for removal of the device.
