Legal Question in DUI Law in California

DUI Related

I've recently been told by the court that i have a bench warrant for a missed court date. I was never advised. If I go to see judge on my own, will he send me to jail?

As Michael Stone said, "probably not," which means maybe so. I would advise you to talk to a criminal lawyer first, to be advised about your best course of action based on a complete understanding of what you are facing. There are many reasons why a bench warrant might be issued, and many reasons why a judge may put you in jail. Most attorneys give free legal consultations. If you'd like to talk to me, please don't hestiate to contact me. Steve Mandell

It is possible, but not likely as long as you don't have prior history of this. If you decide you need legal help in this case, feel free to contact me.

Maybe. We would need to know more about your prior history and the charge in which you failed to appear. You should hire a lawyer to assist you in this matter.

Re: DUI Related

It is at least reasonably likely you will go to jail. You need an attorney that will fight for you and care about your future.

Feel free to call at your earliest convenience.
