Legal Question in DUI Law in California

who`s liable

I am a manager for the company I work for. I am hosting a going away party for another manager I work with that is resigning. There will be many employees there, and there will be alcohol served. Is the company I work for also liable if something happens to one of the employees on there way home?

The question highly depends on the situation. I would suggest consulting an attorney before this party to determine your possible liability. It will be much cheaper to consult an attorney before than after the party, when the problem exists.

You betcha. Either regulate the alcohol and call cabs for drunks, or suffer the legal consequences.
