Legal Question in DUI Law in California

Please I need help... I do not have money at the moment for I am waiting for a check to come in.... But my question is? I'm applying for several jobs on-line and my first court date is on April 5th 2010, and have not been charged yet with anything. I was arrested, finger printed, mug shot and everything for possibly a DUI. There is a question that ask on the application: Are you currently awaiting trial for a criminal charge or any other violation of the law? I don't know what to put since I haven't been charged with anything and haven't yet gone to court. Please help me, I'm lost.... Thank you for your time. P.S. How do I go about to hirer a lawyer from a different state where the incident happen?

Yes, you were 'charged' with DUI when you got arrested, and yes you are awaiting trial.

You can contact a Lawyers Referral Service in the city where the court is.
