Legal Question in Entertainment Law in California

contracts

If a person signs a contract and does not receive a copy of said contract signed by the other party after numerous requests, does that affect the validity of the contract in any way? Is the person required to fulfill his part of the contract without a copy signed by both parties?

Re: contracts

I have no idea whether you are talking about a million dollar contract, or a thousand dollar contract. I would have an attorney assess your situation and then if called for, I would have the attorney send them a letter asking for it. Is it possible that you may not be able to perform because you do not know what to do? Yes, but again you need an attorney because they other side may not comply with terms and or sue you.
