Legal Question in Family Law in California

2 Petitions filed

almost 5 years ago I filed for divorce, served Petition & Summons, this was an action we were doing together, I was to do the paperwork for the divorce. after struggling with the paperwork, I asked my husband- who was in the big hurry- to hire someone to do our paperwork instead. I received a Summons copy with his attorney's name, same case number, everything else exactly the same except he removed the -court retains support- that I had checked. do I need to take any action to negate that?

Re: 2 Petitions filed

I think you should go to an attorney who call pull the file over the internet and tell you the status of your divorce. It sounds like you are not divorce and at the rate you guys are doing the process, you will have inconsitent petitions.
