Legal Question in Family Law in California

During my 3 year marriage I have financially supported my husband (so he can put his money into his business). I have paid all the bills including healthcare and childcare (1 minor child). I am the major care giver of the child due to fathers long work hours - in addition to working full-time. I just purchased a home and renovated it without any assistance from my husband - he signed a quit claim deed at closing. He has not moved in just sleeps on sofa occasionally. If we were to divorce does he have a claim on the house? What can I do to avoid this? Thanks
