Legal Question in Family Law in California

i have been in acommon law marriage for 21 years. my common law husband has been the bread winner most of these years because we hve a son with autism. my son is 20 years old now and my common law husband has been cheeting most of these years. i would like t know what i am intittled to if we break up such as spouse support and medical because i had a heart attack because of the stress from the affairs.

There is no such thing as common law marriage in California. However, if you did not work based upon a promise of lifetime support or lifetime medical care, etc., you might have a case for "palimony." Don't try to do it all by yourself, though!
