Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am 17 years old and a college student, I am thinking of leaving the state of Missouri and traveling to California to attend college and live with my boyfriend in California. I would like to know the age of consent in California and if he could get in trouble for me coming out to him. Could my parnets make me return to Missouri? How could I get the court to declare me an adult in California? I have always been number one in my class, have full rides at many colleges coming up so I can go to school whereever I want and I want to go to California. Any help are consideration you may give me I will be thankful for. PS I have never ever been in any kind of trouble and have all kinds of teacher recommandations.

The age of consent in California is 18 years old. Your boyfriend probably could get in trouble with the law for doing what you propose.
