Legal Question in Family Law in California

Bank Records Subpoenaed

I have subpoenaed bank records for my divorce case to help prove to the courts that this man is lying about his income, he is claiming he is unemployed though he owns his own business. How do I get them from the court so that I can have a case. The records are in the court file but not in the public file so they can not be veiwed.

You should get a local self help center in the court house to assist you in filing a subpoena. Additionally there are legal books at your library to help with filing a subpoena.

Always consult with a lawyer in your area prior to making legal decisions. Good luck!
