child custody

If my my ex wants to take my child out of the court awarded areas and says she will return with our child within 6 months to a year for her job purpose and she signs a note saying she will return is that all i need in writing or do i need something else that assures me she has to come back ?

Once she leaves with your permission it may be difficult to force her to return with your child. A written agreement would be difficult to enforce if she changes her mind. A court order would give you better chance of forcing her to return your child. If you do not have visitation with your child for that long it will be even more difficult to get make the ex return to the court awarded area. Consult with an attorney before consenting to the move away.
