Legal Question in Family Law in California

Child Support

Ex husband lives out of country in Hungary. He is hiding, and a U.S. Citizen. He owes his daughter 90,000 in past due child support. We live here in California. District Attorney will not seek to extradite or request federal charges against him. they only filed a misdemeanor 270 penal complaint. He Failed To show. He Pays 100 or so every six months. Can anything be done on my own to have him brought back to face federal or felony child support charges.

Re: Child Support

Contact the United States Attorney and report your circumstances. Leaving a state to avoid the payment of child support is a federal crime.
