Legal Question in Family Law in California

Must this code, California Family Code Section 4063, be written into a custody agreement, or is simply understood that this is the law and recognized as such?

This section pertains to health care costs. As such to ensure that you able to collect on reimbursement for 1/2 the costs not covered by the insurance, this section should be included in your agreement.
