Is there common law in calif

I have been with my boyfriend for almost 6 years. I was just wondering if there is common law in calif after 7 years. I want to know if something happens to our relationship do we have to split everything?

No common law here. Property division will be based on contract principles, not community property.

No. There is such a thing as palimony, that could apply.
