Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a court order for child support and my x-husband has taken upon himself to cut it in half what legal action does he have and what legal action do I have.

If he has cut it in half without a court ordered modification, he is in contempt of court. You should file an OSC re: contempt. Bear in mind, however, that if he has a legitimate change in circumstances he will eventually get a modified amount.
