Legal Question in Family Law in California

Custody for single Dad

My girlfriend and I just had a baby daughter this month we each live at our parents house because she was advised by her mother not to work during her pregnancy and I have been paying all of her bills and now my daughter's needs. Due to her parent's interference we have been having problems and now she does not want me 'around' and will not let me see my daughter. I am full time manager and can afford to support my daughter and I have the support of my parents. How can I get custody? My girlfriend does not work, and the jobs that she has had are as cashier at fast food restaurants. Her adoptive parents want her out on her own. One minute they say they will help her and then later they are yelling at her because they are tired of supporting her and say that she should have moved out when she was 18. She is now 25.
