Legal Question in Family Law in California

My daughter is turning 18 in October and she starts OSU in Sept. She will be a full time student. Her father thinks he can stop paying child support when she turns 18. What is the law in California for child support for full time students?

If she graduated from High School, then support can stop pursuant to the family code.
