Legal Question in Family Law in California

I had a dependency case , wher I only saw my child 1 time. even though we were orderd vistitation as well as counseling. During the procedure the judge let my child go on vacation during the trial and he was enrolled in school I have not seen my child in over 3 years nor have I spoken to him. I have a pych. eval that was 100% in my favor. A very unethical lawyer who missed 2 court dates. what to do next?

The information provided is insufficient to provide a considered response, ie, age of child, circumstances leading to the filing of the dependency case, reason for the psych evaluation, outcome of court hearings, etc., etc. If you are unhappy with your lawyer you should retain the services of a different lawyer with whom you feel comfortable. In any event, three years is a very long time to be out of the child's life and you do need to take action to establish a reunification process. This of course presumes that your parental rights to your child have not been terminated. The court will only take action that it considers to be in the child's best interest and the complexity of your case is really beyond this forum.
