Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex-wife is taking too much money from me, not letting me see my children as much as I believe I should, she also destroyed a very good relationship I was recently in. My job is very slow now, I am only making a fraction of what I was 2yrs ago. I am trying to find an other job, but none to be found. I need to lower my support payments, I currently pay half of all costs of child care $90 a week during the summer, $257 a month for half of a car payment for a car I don't have any posession of, and $1000 dollars a month child support. I am currently bringing home approx $2000 a month. I was actually homeless for a while, because of this, I always pay my support, but now I still do, but the other costs are not being paid. I printed an order to show cause packet off the internet, and now I am just confused on how to go about doing this, also there will be no what for me to pay any fees. I am not sure which forms to fill out, and how to fill them out. I wanted to go to the facilitator at the court, but with my job, it really isn't possible, there just isn't enough time to take off to go there, I also cannot afford to not be at work. Can someone please help me??

You need to file a motion to modify the current support amounts and enforce or establish a child sharing schedule. You should do this as soon as possible since the order cannot change until the date that you file the motion. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
