Legal Question in Family Law in California

I had filed for child support right before my exhusband was fired from his job. Is it possible that he could be awarded child support now? He has the children 35% of the time.

Yes, it is possible. He will, however, get a "find work" order to go with it, unless he wants to have his prior income "imputed" to him for purposes of calculating support. What you may want to do if he is amenable is take the support motion off calendar for a reasonable amount of time while he looks for another job. And then establish support based on his income from the new job he gets.
