Legal Question in Family Law in California

Hi, I filed for Legal Separation but it hasn't been finalize yet. I filed Petition, Summons and a Decalaration Under Uniform Child Custody etc., I'm in the process of buying a house and it's going to be under my mom's name but I'm a co-signer. Can my husband claim the right on the house? How do I do this without headache. Should I remove myself from the Loan? Please help.

You should never do major financial transactions while in the middle of a divorce or legal separation. If you need to go forward with this, you will need to hire an attorney to get up to speed on the details and guide you through it. Otherwise you run the risk of really making a mess of things. It can be done safely, but not by a lay person. Better to wait if you can, or bow out of the loan, if you don't want to or can't hire an attorney.
