Legal Question in Family Law in California

Filing for Default

I recently filed a default against my wife in a dissolution case. She did not protest any papers I filed. We have no issues to settle. We have no children. I have property and the title is under my name only. She quitclaimed when I purchased my house. Besides that our separation date came before I purchased my house. Will the judge grant the divorce? Thank you.

Re: Filing for Default

Based upon the information that you have given you should have no problems. If you must go to court take your documents, including the quitclaim deed and escrow closing statement with you. You probably don't need them but be prepared. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
