Legal Question in Family Law in California

Finacial Obligations, Domestic partners

My brother is deceased. He was in the entertainment bussiness and we receive royalty checks for his work. I'm trying to establish an account in my neice's name,so that when she's of age, she can have her father's money. Her mother won't allow us to see her or give the niece's SSN, which is required, for us to put everything in the niece's name. (requirment coming from the record company). What rights do we have, to get this information. If none,Need help on where to put the money, until she's old enough to get it herself. Thank-you in advance

This is unusual. No probate of his estate? How old is the daughter? A trust may be set up for her benefit without her social secutity number and intercession with her mother may allow visitations. Please call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
