Custody decisions in the sort of situation you describe are extremely fact-based. Without a full evaluation of both households, and the parents of the child, and all the other factors that would go into a determination of what would be in the "best interests of the minor child," it is impossible even to venture a guess as to how a court would rule. One thing I can tell you, however, is don't count on the "money card" as being a good one for you. The "we're rich so we can provide the better home" gambit comes across as arrogant and out of touch with ALL the other things a child needs. So the court will simply counter with, "Great, then when we award custody to the mother you can pay LOTS of child support."
