Legal Question in Family Law in California

My husband has 2 sons with his ex- wife and recently was awarded full costody and child support. he abadoned me and our 4 mth old son. He declines to partcipate in our son's life and financial duty. he needs to return to court on 9-30-09 to finalize the new court order.

I NEED ADVICE PLEASE.

my husband declines to speak with me and i cannot contact him. pls advise

If you have not already done so, you should contact the Department of Child Support Services (you should be able to google the organization to find out their contact information) to assist you in collecting child support. It is a free service, although not always a fast remedy. With regard to visitation, you cannot force his father to be in his life, but you can ask the court to base child support on a zero percent timeshare.
