Legal Question in Family Law in California

What does it mean if they judge crosses out the respodents name on the custody form? My spouse did not file a response to the divorce petition. I filed a request for default. On the custody form, FL 341, I wrote both our names under physical and legal custody. The paperwork was all returned, accepted by the judge. The judge had crossed off the repondents name under legal and physical custody and stamped his name next to it

Someone would need to look at the actual document to sort out what the judge meant.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. Based on the way you have presented it, it sounds as though the judge does not want the respondent to have custody. But I would have to look at the actual document to be sure.
