my married son had affair with married friend. The spouses found out about the affair. The husband of my son's lover came over hit my son in head and is now sending threatening text messages.
what should my son do

He can report the assailant to the police. He can file for a restraining order (take photos of the phone messages to preserve them). He can have an attorney write a letter to cease and desist. He can also break off the affair for his own safety.
