Legal Question in Family Law in California

missed court date

A TRO was issued pending hearing. The court date was missed and no response to the Order to Show Cause was filed. 1. Does the TRO automatically become permanent?, and 2. If I am in pro-per, is it necessary to file a response at all, since court date was missed?, and will it do any good? The divorce will following.
