Legal Question in Family Law in California

In Orange Co. California,is there a law that restricts the D.A. to collect child and spousasl support together?

It is not the DA any long. It is called DCSS, which is the Department of Child Supprt Services. They are only concerned with child support, and is handled in a different courtroom than spousal support would be.

It depends on whether they are lumped together as "family support" or there are separate orders. If spousal support is separately designated and ordered, the DA has no power to collect or enforce.
