Legal Question in Family Law in California

I didnt even know I owed childsupport, (while kids being at my moms?)

Never had a ticket,& my license is suspended, (Thats how I found out I owed childsupport!)Why wasn't I informed that I had a child support judgement against me. I got my first ticket,- went to court,-pleaded guilty, & judge asks why is your license suspended anyway? I replied, ''I honestly dont know I have never even been pulled over.'' He changed my plead to ''Not Guilty'' I now needed to find out why. I searched and my results are ''childsupport.'' 7-years worth! $44,000.00 Is my life over or what?

You need to retain an attorney and set aside the judgment. You probably owe interest in excess of the $44,000. Do this immediately. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
