Legal Question in Family Law in California

Three person custody over one child

My wife's aunt has legal custody of our son. She moved to the state of Washington and left our son in our care (physical custody?). CPS took our son away from us on June 24, 2003. I talked to a Social Worker the following week and she said that, ''Your aunt said that she wants your son back, so we closed your son's case.''

Our son is now living with my wife's brother and sister-in-law here in Califorina, and they are only allowing supervised visitation. They are allowing us to see our son every other Saturday in a neutral area. Since CPS closed the case--to our knowledge--there is not going to be any court hearing. How can we go about getting liberal visitation rights? Such as having our son stay home every other weekend, and during school breaks and holidays?

an OSC hearing would be the proper forum to bring up your visitation/custody issues for any modification or amendment you seek in the current court order in place. if you would like further assistance in this legal matter, feel free to email me directly today on how you might like to proceed.
