Legal Question in Family Law in California

Were poor,,,so is it less expensive to file for divorce on my own or should i still get a lwyer?. thank u

There is no way to tell you whether you need a lawyer or not. That depends on things you don't tell us, such as the length of the marriage, the amount of property in dispute, and whether or not children are involved. You may qualify for summary dissolution, but I have no way of telling because you don't provide much information.
