Legal Question in Family Law in California

release interest of assest

What form will I fill out and get my husband to sign? I won a case, and I have several accounts and I just purchased a house. He states that he doesn't want anything from me if we divorce. I need a form to get notorized releasing him of interest of my assest. We were married 7-17006, I recieved my money in 2-2007. We're not happy in our marriage, and he does not want anything from me. I need this on legal paper for protection of my assest. Thank You

Re: release interest of assest

Have him sign an interspousal transfer deed giving his interest in the house you bought, to you. You may have bought this in your name only, but you must still have him sign an interspousal transfer deed. Also, you should file for divorce and have him sign a Marital Settlement Agreement.

You should consult with an attorney regarding what steps need to be taken to insure that the property is your separate property.
