My wife and I lived together for 24 years and have been seperated for 14 years. She left and has been living with another man.We are not divorced. Now that I am retiring,does she have a rightn to any of my pension?

If you live in California, your wife will have a community property interest in your pension calcuated as the years you were married divided by the total years of the pension. There may be additional issues relating to distribution. Additionally, you should have an interest in her penion as well.

Another idea is that you may want to check the beneficiaries you've designated on things like that pension, your life insurance, and so forth. You may also want to draft a new Will.
