my son was taken from his mom and the sister trying to adopt him without my perm
I was forced to move to st louis when me and my ex were having problems,......She had already had a child by me and we both named him........I thought i was on the borth certificate,.....And was told by her sister who is keeping him under fostercare that i am not on the birthcert.
My sister and mother made a special trip to go see him and video taped him....I have for two years tried to keep in contact with the sister but she says ......To stop calling because the adoption will be over in a few weeks.......I had no knowledge of my son being adopted....I need a dna test...And have contacted social services....They tell me i would have to pay, but i have limited funds......What do i do ?

You need to file an action for paternity or a dissolution action naming the child, at a minimum. You will almost certainly need to hire an attorney and if you have no funds to hire an attorney, then you may not be able to do anything. While the adoption may not be valid because you have not consented if you sit and do nothing to stop the adoption, you will hinder your rights. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
